So this year got started off on a creative foot with me posting a live DAWless jam for 31 straight days in January, also known as Jamuary. A certain label, Petite Victory Collective out of Copenhagen, seemed to hold the reigns as far as electronic music Jamuary was concerned, by setting daily prompts, reposting, and overall supporting us doing what we do by building a communtiy feel. It was pretty much exactly what I needed; releasing music into the void is daunting and online communities like this make it so much less painful.

Jump to this summer and I’ve befriended the label and have secured my spot on one of their 3 upcoming compliation samplers. I generally think complilations are great but this one sparked my interest a bit more than usual…

This three-volume project was inspired by the children in the Cool Kids Music program, who selected the theme that guided our artists in creating the tracks.

The samples used throughout the project were crafted by the kids from a variety of sources, making this a unique and collaborative effort. 100% of the samplers earnings will be donated to environmental and humanitarian projects of the PVC Initiatives.
